Golden Acre Supplies, LLC is a family owned and operated business established May of 2008. As dog breeders and hunters it was just natural for us to go into a dog hunting supply business. My husband James Golden II is the President and founder of Kalamazoo River Beagle Club in Otsego, Michigan. The club has hosted the Michigan State little pack hunts three years in a row and is hosting the Nationals in conjunction with several other clubs, coming January 2010. James has been running Beagles and Coon dogs for 20+ years . Starting as a small boy with his uncles. He has been trialing Beagles for the last 14 of those years. Every fall since 1998 he as traveled to Drummond Island to run the beagles and hunt hare. I have accompanied him 4 out of the last five years. It has been a blast every time, even though my shooting skills still leave much to be desired. James and I have been married for 12 years and are the proud parents of 3 boys. JD 10, Jacob 8, and Dustin 4. They love to go out with the dogs, especially if it's muddy out.
